Senninha

Senninha (the little Senna ) is a by the signatory Ridaut and Rogério created in Brazil comic book character that caricatures the three -time Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna as eight year old boy.

In addition to the fictional adventures too numerous to-life anecdotes were processed from childhood Senna.

From 15 March 1994, the magazine was published bi-weekly. About two years after Senna's death, sales of comic books began to stagnate, the series was eventually discontinued for economic reasons.

In parallel to the stitching merchandising articles were about the comic book character created. Today Senninha is in Brazil with over 350 merchandising among the market leaders of the comic book business.

The merchandising products constitute an important source of income for the Instituto Ayrton Senna, whose charitable projects accrue to all royalties from Senninha products. The Institute promotes social projects for Brazilian street children.

End of 2005, an animated film with Senninha was published. Senninha em dia de mudança received an award for the best animated film at Comic Brazilian Film Festival Anima Mundi in Rio de Janeiro.
