Sentimento

Sentimento is a classic album of the Italian singer Andrea Bocelli. After its release in November 2002, it has sold more than two million times within a very short time. To this day, it was sold about 3.5 million copies, making it one of the classic albums best-selling worldwide. For Bocelli it was the second most successful classical album after Sacred Arias.

Formation

By his own admission Bocelli had gone with a list compiled by him to Lorin Maazel and asked him to take together these pieces with him. After his commitment Bocelli was accompanied headed Maazel the London Symphony Orchestra. The shooting began on September 30, 2000 at the BBC studio in London and lasted until October 7.

In the Supplement to the album a text drafted by Maazel has been added, which should serve as an introduction. Finally Maazel wrote: May the pleasure we have had in embarking on this new venture be shared by Those Who listen ( Let the fun we had while performing this company will be shared with all those who hear it ).

Tour

Shortly after the public sale of the album and toured Maazel Bocelli United Kingdom to introduce the album there. The island proved to be successful, it could prove to seventh place in the charts on the classical charts even made it the top ranking. In Manchester, Bocelli gave a concert before 13,000 people at Wembley Stadium in London was attended by about 10,000 people to hear him.
