Sepang is a town and a district in the south of the state of Selangor in Malaysia on the Malay Peninsula. The district capital is Salak Tinggi, Sepang part of the city.

Facts and Figures

On 59 966 ha approximately 75,000 people ( 1991 census ). Forecasts, in conjunction with the Multimedia Super Corridor, predict a population size of two million people for the year 2020.

The district Sepang is a part ( the southern end ) of the Multimedia Super Corridor, a special economic zone. Therefore, there are the high- tech city of Cyberjaya, the motorsport race at Sepang International Circuit and the 10 km ² large international airport in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.
