- 2006: Chinese border police opened fire on the border with Nepal 75 Tibetan refugees. The incidents on the Nangpa La should have cost seven lives.
- 2010: In Quito the mutiny begins in Ecuador. Dissatisfied police officers who are supported by some army units, try a military coup against President Rafael Correa.
- 2010: During the evacuation of a student demonstration against Stuttgart 21 in Stuttgart palace garden of about 400 people were injured, including young people and pensioners. There were also some water cannons, batons and pepper spray used.
