Sequals

Sequals ( Secuals ) is a place and the name of the village in Friuli- Venezia Giulia region in the province of Pordenone. The municipality comprises the main town and the places Sequals Lestans and Solimbergo. Here live 2220 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Sequals borders the municipalities of Arba, Cavasso Nuovo, Meduno, Pinzano al Tagliamento, Spilimbergo and Travesio.

Sequals is known by those born in Sequals heavyweight boxing champion Primo Carnera and its mosaic artist.

Due to an earthquake in May 1976 some buildings were partly badly damaged, including the two churches of S. Andrea and S. Niccolò.
