Sequoia Capital is a company established in 1972 by Don Valentine venture capital investment company that operates on the market as capital for start-up IT companies. According to information from Sequoia form those companies in which the Company has invested, from about 20 percent of NASDAQ.

The company is the Sand Hill Road in Silicon Valley. The name Sequoia ( Sequoia engl. " Sequoia " ) refers to California, Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. From 1972 Sequoia funded several companies, including Atari, Yahoo, Paypal, Electronic Arts, YouTube, Meebo, Apple, WhatsApp, Instagram and Google.
