Serge Brunier

Serge Brunier (born 1958 in Paris) is a French photographer, reporter and author who specializes in popular representations for astronomy.

Work and objectives

Brunier collaborates with the magazine Science et Vie and is a columnist at the radio station France Info. He has written numerous illustrated works on astronomy.

He touts a solar system exploration by unmanned space probes, but fights against human spaceflight.

In his illustrated book travel through the solar system he describes the situation on the planet from the perspective of a hypothetical experiencer.

Brunier has in the Atacama a Panoramic view of the Milky Way made ​​in two years of work, on his first show at the casino in Monte Carlo was to be seen in September 2006 and has been shown with their hundreds of millions of pixels 2007 at the Palais de la Découverte in Paris on 144 square meters.
