Serge Thion

Serge thione ( * 1942 ) is a French sociologist with a focus on Africa and South East Asia in particular Cambodia. Current awareness he possesses as a Holocaust denier.

Life

In the years 1960 - 1970 dedicated thione against the South African apartheid state, supported the anti- colonial movements and protested against the Vietnam War.

In the late 1970s he came together with the historical revisionism of Robert Faurisson. Due to its continued denial of the Holocaust thione was dismissed in 2000 by a committee headed by the French historian François Bédarida from all offices at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique. Together with Pierre Guillaume, he is considered one of the founders of the Association des anciens amateurs de guerre et d' récits de holocauste. Following the Holocaust conference in Iran in 2006, which he attended as a French representative, he teamed up with Michèle Renouf, Fredrick Toben, Christian Lindtner and Bernhard Schaub the revisionist World Foundation for Holocaust Studies.
