Sergeants 3

The victorious Three is an American Western with comedic elements from the year 1962 by John Sturges. The main roles were played by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Sammy Davis Jr. based the script was the poem Gunga Din of the British poet Rudyard Kipling.

Action

The United States in 1870. Mike, Chip, and Larry are Sergeants of the U.S. Cavalry. They are stationed in a fort in Indian country. Mike and Chip try to talk to stay in the Army Larry. Larry has planned to marry the attractive Amelia to his service. The three men learn one evening the former slaves Jonah know. The trumpet player 's dream is to be in the army.

The Indians begin raiding and terrorizing the settlers. Chip planning to kidnap the chief. With Jonah sneaks to a secret place where the Indians hold their Ghost Dance. Chip is taken, however, discovered and captured. Jonah manages to escape and notify Mike and Larry. Larry wants to immediately rush to the rescue of his friend, but Mike stops him and makes him sign a document that certifies its re-entry into the army. This document should make his help official, Mike would tear it up after the bailout.

Mike, Larry, and Jonah rush to the place of capture. But the three are captured by the Indians. As a cavalry squadron in a set by the Indians ambush threatens to go, Jonah is able to warn the soldiers with his trumpet. Go from the following battle, the U.S. cavalrymen emerged as the winner. The three sergeants are excellent, Jonah is allowed to join the army. Larry now wants to make his way to his bride. But Mike handed the officer the document that Larry has signed. Larry is now forced to do another service in the army.

While the first film in India plays the remake was moved to the Wild West. The biggest difference from the original film is that here Jonah ( Davis) is survived and taken into the army, while Gunga Din ( Jaffe ) sacrificed his life for the soldiers.
