Sergei Ostapenko

Sergei Sergeyevich Ostapenko ( born June 23, 1986 in Alma- Ata ) is a Kazakh football player.

Career

Ostapenko played with 17 years at Zesna Almaty in Kazakhstan's second league. He moved in late 2003 to FK Almaty in the first league. After a weak yield with 12 goals in 82 games, he was sold to Tobol Qostanai 2007. Here he scored his first big break and he was in Kazakhstan a name. In 26 games he scored 10 goals. This power is then led to a move abroad. Since January 2008 Ostapenko played for FC Antwerp ( the club of his compatriot Maksim Schalmaghambetow ), but there was never used and returned in July 2008 back to Kazakhstan. In 2010 he moved to FK Astana Kazakhstan with whom he won the Kazakh Cup in the same season. After a year at Schetissu Taldyqorghan 2011, he returned in 2012 to FK Astana back.

National

On 6 June 2007 Ostapenko played his first international match against Azerbaijan for the Kazakhstan national football team. He was inducted into the qualifying matches for Euro 2008, 2010 World Cup, Euro 2012 and 2014 World Cup.
