Sergei Pushkov

Sergei Mikhailovich Puschkow (Russian: Сергей Михайлович Пушков; born February 25, 1964 in Leningrad, Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player and current coach.

Career

Sergei Puschkow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at Ischorez Leningrad, for which he was in the Perwaja League, the second Soviet division, active from 1984 to 1988. The 1989/90 season spent at the Center TuTo hockey in the second Finnish league, the I- divisioona. From 1992 to 1994 he ran in the International Hockey League for the SKA Saint Petersburg. In the season 1994/95 the Russians for Brynäs IF played in the Swedish Elitserien and was runner-up with his team. For the following season, he was obliged by the spectrum Flyers from the Norwegian Elite Series. In addition, he completed another game for the SKA St. Petersburg in the International Hockey League. From 1996 to 1998 he stood for Vålerenga IF on the ice, with whom he won the Norwegian championship in the 1997/98 season. This was followed by one and a half years in Norway at the Storhamar Dragons and Frisk Asker, before he finished during the season 1999/2000 when HK Spartak Saint Petersburg from the second Russian league, the Wysschaja league, his active career at the age of 36 years.

From 2006 to 2010 Puschkow was head coach at Chimik -SKA Nawapolazk from the Belarusian Extraliga. Since 2011 he has held the same position for the Green IL from the first divisjon, the second Norwegian league, works.

Internationally

For Russia Puschkow participated in the 1993 World Championships, where he won the gold medal with his team.
