Sergei Tereschenko

Sergei Nikolaevich Tereshchenko (Russian: Сергей Николаевич Терещенко; born 28 December 1991 in Magnitogorsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Kontinental Hockey League since May 2013.

Career

Sergei Tereshchenko began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk, for the second team, he was active from 2007 to 2009 in the third-class Perwaja league. From the 2009/10 season he played for the junior team Stalnyje Lissy Magnitogorsk in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League and won with his team went straight to Kharlamov Cup. The season 2010/11 he also started at Stalnyje Lissy Magnitogorsk in the MHL, but finished it in its league rivals SKA -1946 Saint Petersburg. For the 2011/12 season the defender returned to his hometown and played mainly for Stalnyje Lissy in the MHL. However, the same time he came to his debut for the first team of Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Kontinental Hockey League.

For the 2012/13 season Tereshchenko was committed by the Ukrainian Donbass Donetsk KHL rookie HK, where he was a regular player at first. A year later he returned to his hometown club.
