Sergey Lazarev

Sergei Vyacheslavovich Lazarev (Russian: Сергей Вячеславович Лазарев; born April 1, 1983 in Moscow ) is a Russian singer and actor.

Life

Sergei Lazarev began his singing career at the age of nine, when he belonged to the Lokteus Children Choir. During his school years he played with in plays such as Romeo and Juliet, and Karamazov, where he played the lead role in some cases.

At 14 he received his first musical award. He won several music competitions and children came by to children Neposedi band, which also included his cousin Yulia Volkova and his friend Vlad Topalov. In 2001 he founded together with Vlad Topalov the boy band Smash! , Which was commissioned by Universal Music Russia under contract. In 2002 and 2003, the Group has received numerous awards and records sold in Russia, CIS and Southeast Asia, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand. The two broke up in 2004, shortly after the release of their second album. In November 2005, Lazarev began a solo career and took with British producer Brian Rawling his first solo album, Do not be fake on, which was sold in Russia more than 300,000 times.

Lazarev was adopted in 2000 at the Theatre School of the Moscow Art Theatre ( MCHAT ) and graduated in 2004 as a professional actor from. He received several awards for his roles. In 2005 he resumed his acting career again. With his single "flyer ", he reached the fourth place in Russian preselection for the Euro Vision Song Contest 2008.
