Sergi Bruguera

Sergi Bruguera Torner ( born January 16, 1971 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish tennis player who retired in 2002 by the ATP Tour.

In his professional career, which began in 1988, he won 14 singles titles and three titles in doubles. Among his greatest successes include winning the French Open in 1993 and 1994 ( winning the final against his compatriot Alberto Berasategui ) and the silver medal at the Olympic Games in 1996. His best ranking in the ATP world rankings was the 3rd Place ( August 1994 ). He is considered a clay court specialist and is currently on the Senior Tour go.
