Sergio Gadea

Sergio Gadea Panisello ( born December 30, 1984 in Puçol, Spain ) is a Spanish motorcycle racer.

At first inserts in the motorcycle world championship came Gadea as a wildcard rider in 2003 with Aprilia in the 125cc class. A year later, he finished his first full season on the 19th rank. 2005, the Spaniards started the first time for the Aspar team of four -time world champion Jorge Martínez. In the second place, behind Thomas Luthi at the Grand Prix of France, he achieved his first podium and pushed in the overall standings to twelfth place before. In the 2006 season Gadea reached not only a second, but also four in third place, was fifth in the World Cup overall standings of the eighth liter class and was still the worst of the four Aspar riders.

In the 2007 season Gadea was able to win on a Aspar Aprilia in Le Mans, France, his first Grand Prix victory. This was followed by a second place at Mugello and the third place finish at the Grand Prix of Valencia. The World Cup ended for him on the seventh. 2008, the Spaniard was able to win the Grand Prix of Qatar, but not otherwise went to the podium and was twelfth overall. In the following season Gadea the Dutch TT in Assen won and took two each second and third places. In the World Cup, he finished fifth.

For the 2010 season the team moved Gadea Tenerife 40 Pons of former world champion Sito Pons and started on the side of Axel Pons on a machine of the German manufacturer Kalex in the newly created Moto2 class.
