Serhiy Malyi

Sergei Maly (Ukrainian Сергій Вікторович Малий, Russian Сергей Викторович Малый; born June 5, 1990 in Luhansk, Ukrainian SSR ) is a Kazakh- Ukrainian football player. He plays for Shakhtar since 2013 in the Karaganda Premjer League, the highest Kazakh league.

Career

Sergei Maly began playing football in his hometown at the Luhansk Luhansk LVUFK. After his graduation, he began his career as a professional player with the Ukrainian club FC Komunalnyk Luhansk, which was founded in 2007 and had been dissolved already in the following year. In the 2007 /08 season Maly was presented by his club to the FC Ros Tserkva for which he completed eight matches and scored one goal.

After the end of his club, he joined the Ukrainian first division Zorya Luhansk. His debut in the Premjer - Liha he gave on 5 December 2009 against league rivals Arsenal Kiev when he came on in the 89th minute. From 2010 on, Maly was the second division club FC Arsenal Bila Tserkva in Perscha Liha under contract.

Since the 2013 season, he is in the squad of the Kazakh champion Shakhtar Karaganda.
