Serinda Swan

Serinda Swan ( born July 11, 1984 in West Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian actress and model.

Career

Swan 1984 West Vancouver, British Columbia born as the daughter of an actress and a theater director. In a short interview, she explained that her parents were hippies and she was named after an ancient Tibetan musical instrument. Swan began modeling after she won a modeling competition at age 14.

Her acting debut in Swan partly filmed in British Columbia Bollywood movie Neal 'n' Nikki. This was followed by minor roles in predominantly Canadian productions, including supporting roles in the television series Blood Ties - Biss aufs Blut (2007 ) Psych (2008) and Reaper - A Terrible Job ( 2009). 2008 Swan was seen in the music video for the single So Happy Canadian Rock Band Theory of a Deadman. 2009 was followed by supporting roles in several TV movies, and finally a major role in the Romatikkomödie The Break- Up Artist. In the television series Smallville, she appeared in two episodes as Zatanna Zatara.

2010 played Swan in the fantasy film Percy Jackson - The Lightning Thief the role of Aphrodite, in Tron: Legacy, she appeared as a Siren.

2011 Swan got a starring role in the American action series Breakout Kings, where she plays the former bounty hunter Erica Reed. The series was set in the following year after two seasons with a total of 23 episodes.

Since 2013 Swan plays the role of Paige Arkin in the U.S. crime series Graceland.

Away from film and television Swan has also worked as a photo model, among others, the U.S. fashion brand GUESS, the Canadian brand Dorinha jeans wear and the poker site Absolute Poker.

Private

Swan has been working for various charities, including for Friends to Mankind, the Somaly Mam Foundation and Nothing But Nets, a project of the United Nations Foundation.
