Serve the People (Norway)

Tjen Folket - kommunistisk Forbund (TF, German: The people serving - Communist League ) is a Marxist- Leninist- Maoist organization from Norway. It was founded in 1998 by former members of the works ern communist parti (ACP, German: Communist Party of the Workers ) first Folket as Tjen - an marxist - leninistisk group ( German: The people Serve - Marxist-Leninist group ) was founded. In March 2009, the organization decided to rename. The main objective of the organization is communism; for this comes the revolutionary overthrow of imperialism to the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat is necessary. The youth organization of TF is the Revolusjonær Kommunistisk Ungdom ( RKU, German: Revolutionary Communist Youth), founded by a cleavage of the youth organization of TF rejected as revisionist party Rødt ( German: Red), the Rød Ungdom ( German: Red Youth).

Tjen was Folket together with 40 other parties and organizational founding member of the International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations ( ICOR ). In June 2013, the organization declared their withdrawal from the ICOR.
