Seth Benardete

Seth Benardete ( born April 4, 1930 in Brooklyn, † 14 November 2001) was an American classical scholar and philosopher.

Seth Benardete studied at the University of Chicago, where he was a student of Leo Strauss. Benardete was a professor at Brandeis University, New York University and the New School.
