Geography

Geographical Location

The municipality, about 10 km southeast of Neumarkt idOpf. located, is situated on a belonging to the middle Franconian ridge between the blacks and the whites Laber Laber. In the district Wissing springs the Wissinger Laber.

History

Seubersdorf was a part of the rule Holnstein, Ludwig, the illegitimate son of the Bavarian Elector Karl Albrecht ( Emperor Charles VII ), 1747 had been transferred as a Bohemian fief. However, the municipal coat of arms is a mixture of elements of the coat of arms of the noble families that were most significant for the municipality belonging to the former Hofmark Ittelhofen. Incorporations

Blazon: Shared by gold and red; above a black double-headed eagle in blue clouds wreath, below six circularly arranged golden linden leaves. The coat of arms comes from the house of Ittelhofener and Aoian family both Resident on the Hofmarkssitz to Ittelhofen

The emblem has been used since 1979.
