Seven Sisters Waterfall, Norway

The Seven Sisters ( in Norwegian called Dei sju systrene or De syv søstre ) are seven next to each other tumbling into the fjord waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord in Norway. The largest water fall height is 300 meters. Since there are less snow in the winters and the waterfalls are fed by meltwater from the Fjell, sometimes only four sisters are seen in the summer months.

The Seven Sisters are next to the waterfall located on the opposite side of the fjord "Free " ( in Norwegian called Friaren ) one of the natural attractions on a ride through the Geirangerfjord. This fame is mainly due to the associated with the name and appearance Sage.

According to the legend of the suitors, each of the seven sisters wanted to get married one by one. However, all said " No" and rejected his courtship. Then the suitors grabbed the bottle and became an alcoholic. This is reflected down into the shape of the falls, which took the shape of a bottle.
