Sevilla (Bohol)
Seville is a Philippine municipality in the province of Bohol. It has 10,443 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).
The inland city of Bohol was founded in 1872 and was one of the last cities founded during the Spanish rule in the Philippines. The city was named most likely to Sevilla in Andalusia, Spain.

History
Seville was originally founded in 1872 on the site of present-day village Bentig in Barangay Calinginan Sur. During the Philippine- American War, however, the Americans burned the town to the ground on November 3, 1901. Thereafter, it was rebuilt on the other side of the Loboc River in Maraag, Barangay Poblacion in today.
