Seymour Chatman

Seymour Benjamin Chatman ( b. 1928 ) is an American film and literary critic.

Life

Chatman is an emeritus professor of rhetoric at the University of Berkeley and is considered one of the most important narratological structuralists. He researched mainly to Michelangelo Antonioni and narrative forms in literature and cinema.
