Seymour Liebergot

Seymour " Sy " Abraham Liebergot (* February 15, 1936 in Camden, New Jersey ) is an American former aerospace engineer. During the Apollo program, he worked as a " Electrical, Environmental and Consumables Manager" ( EECOM ) in the flight line.

He began his professional career in 1963 at North American Aviation, after he had made at the California State University with a degree in electrical engineering. In 1964 he went to NASA and was with the Apollo missions 8 to 15, while Skylab and ASTP worked as EECOM. He belonged to the team that 13 back safely brought the crew of Apollo to earth.

Today, Seymour Liebergot lives with his third wife Craig in Pearland (Texas ).

In the movie Apollo 13 Liebergot is played by Clint Howard, brother of director Ron Howard.
