Band History

The SFJAZZ Collective ( SF stands for San Francisco) was founded by Joshua Redman in 2004 as a project for the San Francisco Jazz Festival and directed until 2007. Besides Redman belonged to the octet in the first occupation and Others Bobby Hutcherson, Renee Rosnes, Nicholas Payton, Miguel Zenón, Josh Roseman, Robert Hurst and Brian Blade; acted as arranger Gil Goldstein.
