History

The early years

The origins of the club go back to 1946, when had to reorganize to a large extent after the Second World War the sport. On April 8, 1946 founded handball players from the Berlin districts of Reinickendorf, Rosenthal and Wilhelmsruh the player community Wilhelmsruh. Successful Sports Association

Football

The football section of the SPA was founded in 1956 with 40 members. It took 19 years before the first team in 1975 was promoted to the highest league in East Berlin district league. The SG Bergmann -Borsig

After the political and economic upheavals of the events of 1989 accounted for BSG Bergmann -Borsig the economic base.
