SG OrPo Danzig

The sports community of the Order Police Danzig (short SG Orpo Danzig) was a football club based in Gdańsk. It was founded in 1920 under the name of sports club police Gdansk as a sports club of the city police. During the 20s the club was regularly represented in the play-off of the regional Baltic Football Association, but was able to post any success. In 1934, the SV of Gauliga East Prussia and Danzig 1935-1938 Gauliga of Danzig, which was part of the East Prussian Gauliga allocated.

1939 came under the new name police SV Danzig in the first final round of Tschammer Cup, but had to admit defeat directly with 2:3 Viktoria Stolp.

1941, the club was renamed the sports community of the Order Police Danzig and played from 1940 to 1943 in the Gauliga Danzig-West Prussia.

In the 1942/43 season the club was forced to voluntarily withdraw from the Gauliga. With flight and expulsion of the German population in 1945 he ceased to exist.

The stadium where the sports community of the Order Police Gdansk usually fought out their home games, was the Police sports field.
