SG Oslebshausen

BREMEN ROOSTERS was a German basketball team from Bremen. It emerged in 2002 from the basketball department of TSV Lesum. After the 2008/2009 season was for economic reasons, the withdrawal from the 2nd Basketball Bundesliga and the dissolution of the team. The game law was adopted by the SG Oslebshausen, who thus in the 1st Regional went to the start from the 2009/2010 season. From SG Oslebshausen took place in December 2010, the withdrawal from the Regional League for financial reasons.

History

For the 2002/2003 season of the TSV Lesum rose from the Regionalliga Nord in the second BBL. The season ended with the 12th Place. After the season, the license of the first men's team was transferred to the newly founded Bremen Roosters GmbH. In subsequent years, the rankings were seven, six, and 14 achieved. In the 2006/2007 season came with the 7th place qualifying for the newly organized 2nd League Pro A. Prior to the 2007/2008 season were discussed due to lack of capacity hall in Bremen plans to move the Roosters to Munich. Since membership in the Pro A in the year 2007/2008 the team wore their games from the SG Oslebshausen eV in the Sperberstraße. The 2007/2008 season ended, the team ranked 11th The team was trained at the beginning of the season by the Serbs Rade Vojnovic, who transferred the office to his assistant Nedim Hizliates.

The former NBBL team Team Bremen was supported by the TSV, not by the Roosters. Meanwhile finds no significant cooperation with the TSV Lesum - Burgdamm instead of more. The youth co-operation is being conducted exclusively with the Vegesacker TV.

Partner of Bremen Roosters GmbH are the controlling shareholders Burak Canboy (formerly BTS Neustadt, Delmenhorster TV), the ( 100 % owned by Burak Canboy ), as well as the SG Oslebshausen eV and the razor & scho elles GmbH (Andreas knife, sporcan GmbH President of the Bremen Basketball Association ).

On June 2, 2009, Bremen Roosters announced their withdrawal from the 2nd Basketball Bundesliga.

The game right was transferred to the SG Oslebshausen, who thus in the 1st Regional went to the start from the 2009/2010 season.

On 14 February 2012 the liquidation of Bremen Roosters GmbH was officially ended and the company was deleted from the commercial register.
