The sports community source in the TV Fürth 1860 is a football club based in Fürth in Middle Franconia.
History
From 1860 to SG TV source
On 1 June 1973 merged the football department of Turnverein 1860 Fürth and the BSG Schickedanz Fürth ( company sports group of the source group) for SG Quelle/1860 Fürth.
For this was the third football club, which evolved from the traditional TV in 1860. Because 1903 was within the 1860 TV SpVgg Fürth were founded as a football department. However, due to the low support of the main club, the SpVgg made in 1906 independently.
However, a football section was on TV in 1860 exist. From this was 1924, the football club Fürth forth, but in 1930 again returned to the main club.
Climb up to the Regionalliga
In the shadow of the great Frankish clubs 1st FC Nuremberg and SpVgg Fuerth standing the success story of football masters of the SG did not begin until after the merger in 1973. 1980, with the county class achieves a local league for the first time and the following year was Quelle Fürth rise in the district league. Bezirksoberliga and division

Stadium
The Gustav Schickedanz sports field holds 7000 spectators and is named after Gustav Schickedanz, the founder of goods mail order company source named. Since 1918 is in the district of Fürth, Dambach a sports site of the 1860 TV Fürth. It is not a pure football stadium, but primarily to the athletics track of the successful LAC source.
