Sha. (actually Andreas sledders, born January 11, 1972 in Hartberg) is an Austrian artist and describes itself as a perception researchers. He became known through multimedia art projects such as the House of Music in Vienna and by the AlphaSphere art sun object.

Life

Andreas sledders graduated from a 1990 study of the theory of composition, music theory and electro-acoustics at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. From 1995 to 1996 was followed by studies at the sound lab, IRCAM - Centre Pompidou Paris. His AlphaSphere was an Austrian investments in the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF 2008) in New York.

Since the mid- 1990s, he devotes his artistic work on the perception of man, it shall proceed from the medium of sound. In his works he chose to symphony orchestra, experimental music theater, sound installations and home-built sound objects a. He developed videos, interactive exhibits, and telematic networked media projects ( cooperation with ORF, WDR, BR, ARTE, Radio France, EBU).

Today, he works under the stage name " sha. " On projects and wellness devices that connect through the senses ( multi-sensory ) to open new, synaesthetic perception fields. Starting from the medium of sound to connections are made to other sensory qualities. Color, light, form, feel, warmth, fragrance should be united by sound in a total experience of immersive art.

At the Institute for Perception Research GmbH in Vienna he developed projects with various interdisciplinary team of experts. This development work is partly sponsored by the AWS pulse program (Austria Economic Service ), the Vienna Business Agency ( Vienna Business Agency ), the Departure (Creative Industries Vienna ) and the Austria Economic Chamber.

Luger has performed internationally as a lecturer and creative consultant. His subjects relating to creativity, perception, the relationship between art, science and industry and self-discovery. To market its objects was the sha in 2005. Holding GmbH, based in Vienna founded.
