Shaban Ismaili

Shaban Ismaili ( born May 2, 1989 in Gostivar, SFR Yugoslavia) is an Albanian football player.

Career

Association

In the Ismaili youth joined in 2003 by the TSV Eltingen to VfB Stuttgart. For the 2008/09 season Ismaili heard for the first time in the squad of the second team of VfB Stuttgart.

His professional debut was Ismaili 30 August 2008 on Matchday fifth of the season 2008/ 09 for VfB II in the 3rd professional league against Eintracht Braunschweig.

For the 2009/10 season, VfB Stuttgart Ismaili borrowed from the SG Sonnenhof Großaspach. August 1, 2009 Ismaili scored in the first round of the DFB Cup in Frankenstadium Heilbronn in the 1:4 defeat to the Premier League team his master club VfB Stuttgart goal for a 1-0 halftime lead for Großaspach.

For the 2010/11 season Ismaili moved to RB Leipzig, where he signed a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further year.

On January 26, 2012 Ismaili signed with the SG Sonnenhof Großaspach a contract until the end of the current season. A contract extension through the 2012/13 season, he refused because he was speculating on a change to the Stuttgarter Kickers. After this change, however, did not materialize, he finally moved to the Regional rivals SV Waldhof Mannheim.

National

In January 2008, Ismaili was appointed national coach Arie Haan for a course of the Albanian national team. He was by far the youngest participant of the course.
