Shadow Wilson

Rossiere " Shadow" Wilson ( born September 25, 1919 in Yonkers, NY, † July 11, 1959 in New York ) was an American jazz drummer who is both a big band drummer and in small groups ( in the 1950 years ) made ​​a name.

Wilson began in 1939 in the big band of Lucky Millinder and then worked in many major big bands of the swing era: Benny Carter, Tiny Bradshaw (1940 ), Lionel Hampton 1940/1941, Earl Hines 1941-1943, Count Basie ( 1944-1946 and 1948 ) and Woody Herman in 1949.
