Shagrath

Shagrath (born Stian Thoresen Tomt ) is a Norwegian musician.

He became known as a singer, which was founded in 1993 Dark metal band Dimmu Borgir as well as the guitarist of the band Chrome Division. With Dimmu Borgir, he also played irregularly drums, electric bass and keyboards. Prior to founding Dimmu Borgir he played in the Black Metal band Fimbulwinter, which was disbanded in 1994. He was also briefly a member of Ulver 1994.

In 2009 he founded with former Gorgoroth bassist King Ov Hell, the project Ov Hell. A part of the music of the debut, on the Teloch ( 1349 ), Arve "Ice Dale " Isdal ( Enslaved, I) and Frost play ( Satyricon ), King originally wrote for Gorgoroth and God Seed with Gaahls voice in the back of the head. Their debut album, The Underworld Regime was released in 2010. Similar to Shagrath main band Dimmu Borgir Ov Hell is alleged to be a commercial all-star project. The Shagrath replied that he was " this music and its contents live," while the self-proclaimed " guardians of public morals " "" babble " of their Disney version of Black Metal " would. He shared with King " a satanic perspective in our music that have lost many other groups."

Personal

In the fall of 2008, he was with the former girlfriend of Nicolas Cage, Christina Fulton, engaged for a short time. The wedding was postponed until 2009, in later press releases no marriage is mentioned.
