The Shah Alam Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium with track and field facility in the east of the city of Shah Alam in Malaysia. The arena is owned by the city of Shah Alam and currently has 69 372 seats. It can be converted to some sitting to standing, which then increased the capacity to 80,000 seats. Around the stadium are a total of 5,500 parking spaces available for visitors.

The Shah Alam Stadium was designed by architect Hijjaz Kasturi. Construction began in 1991; the opening of the stadium was celebrated on 16 July 1994 with the game Selangor FA against the team of Dundee United from Scotland. Currently, the stadium is primarily used for football matches. The football club Selangor FA bears in the sports complex of its home games.

The Arena is spanned by two large roof arches. Until the inauguration of the National Stadium Bukit Jalil in 1998 it was the largest stadium in Malaysia. The facility is located in a sports complex, which includes among other things the multi-purpose hall stage Malawati heard with 12,000 seats, a go-kart track, a swimming pool and a dive center. In addition, here the racetrack Shah Alam Circuit was until it was demolished in 2003.

In 2007, the stadium hosted the group game against Uzbekistan China in Group C of the Asian Cup.

The final tournament of the ASEAN Football Championship 2012 will be held alongside the cities of Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, also in Shah Alam.
