Shahab-2

The Shahab -2 (Persian شهاب, German: about Meteor -2) is an Iranian short-range ballistic missile ( SRBM ) and the successors to the Shahab -1 missile.

Description

Compared to its predecessor is the Shahab -2 have received particularly improved inertia control. The development of the missile took place in North Korea, the Soviet Scud - C was used as a base. In North Korea called Hwasong 6, it was exported in a variety of countries. From 1990 to have originated in Iran facilities for the assembly and production of the missile, also are about 60 pieces have been delivered directly from North Korea.
