Shams Tabrizi

Shems -e Tabrizi (Persian شمس تبریزی ), Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Malik Shemseddin Dad, was a Persian mystic of the 12th century. He was born in 1164, the son of the scholar Ali ibn Malik Dad, in the asarbaidschanischen city of Tabriz in Iran, which was later dubbed the additive gave him and means " The sun or the light of Tabriz ".
