Shamsuddin Amiri

Shamsuddin Amiri (born 12 February 1985 in Khayrabad ) is an Afghan football goalkeeper.

Life

Career

Amiri began his footballing career in 2002 in Pakistan for Pakistan Television Islamabad FC, ​​he fled with some of the local players due to the occupation of Osama bin Laden. In 2003 he returned to his homeland and first played one year for FC Maiwand in Kabul before moving to Kabul Bank FC in the spring of 2004. He was voted the best Afghan soccer players in 2007.

International Career

He played 27 matches so far since 2004 for the Afghan national soccer team. In summer 2008 he played for the AFC Challenge Cup 2008 Afghanistan in India.
