Shamsul Maidin

Shamsul Maidin ( born April 16, 1966) is a FIFA football referee from Singapore. He has won several awards as the best referee in the Singaporean League. His participation in the Football World Cup in 2006 was his first. However Maidin was the Confederations Cup 2005 in Germany working as a referee - also in 2006 at the African Cup of Nations. After George Suppiah (WM 1974), he is the second referee from Singapore, who has worked as Impartial at a World Cup.

At the 2006 World Cup, he led the game in Trinidad and Tobago - Sweden (0:0 ), Mexico - Angola (0-0 ) and Costa Rica - Poland (1:2).
