Shana Cox

Shana Cox ( born January 22, 1985 in Hicksville, New York ) is a British- American sprinter who specializes in the 400 -meter run.

Life

Cox was fifth in 2004 over 200 meters at the Junior World Championships. In 2008 she was NCAA champion in the 400 meters. As the daughter of British parents they have dual citizenship and starts since 2011 for the United Kingdom.

At the World Indoor Championships in 2012, she was in the individual competition and won fifth with the British team in the 4 x 400 - meter relay. In the same year she scored in the relay at the European Championships and fourth at the Olympic Games in London in fifth place.

In March 2013, it won the gold medal in the 4 x 400 -meter relay at the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2013 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Shana Cox graduated from Pennsylvania State University in Psychology.
