Shane Acker
Shane Acker (born 1971 in Wheaton, Illinois) is an American animated film director, screenwriter, film producer, and animator.
Acker was 2003 for the special effects in the film The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in charge. He already had some success at festivals with his short films when he was nominated in 2006 for his short film 9 for an Oscar. As a result, Tim Burton was aware of him, who took over the production for a feature film version among others, along with Timur Bekmambetov. Film's release in the United States is 9 September 2009.
