Shane Summers

Shane Lister Summers ( born June 23, 1936 in Rossett, near Wrexham, Wales, † June 1, 1961 in Brands Hatch, UK) was a British racing driver.

Summers was in his Formula 1 career to five, not counting for the World Cup Grand Prix reported. He played all races in a Cooper Climax T53 with engines, reported by Terry Bartram. His best result was a fourth place at the London round of the Trophy 1961.

Two weeks later, Summers was killed in training to Silver City Trophy fatal. His car collided at the entrance of the tunnel to the paddock with a wall. The young Brit died at the accident site.
