Shane van Boening (* July 14, 1983 in Rapid City, South Dakota) is an American professional pool player.

Career

His first major international success, he was able to celebrate 2007. In addition to the ( unofficial ) Predator World 10-Ball Championships, he won the prestigious U.S. Open 9-Ball. In his first World Cup 9-Ball 2007 he made ​​it to the round of 32 and at the World Cup 8-Ball 2008 to the quarter-finals.

In the first official 10-Ball Championship 2008 he made ​​it to the knockout round. Together with Rodney Morris he won the 2008 World Cup of Pool 3. During World Pool Masters 2009 he managed during his second participation at least to the semifinals. In the 2011 9 -Ball Championships him the jump succeeded to the quarterfinals.
