Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Factory

The Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Factory ( SAMF ), also Shanghai Aviation Industrial Company (SAIC ) or Shanghai Aircraft Company, is a Chinese aviation and aerospace company headquartered in Shanghai. The company is part of the China Aviation Industry Corporation I ( AVIC I).

Shanghai Aircraft was founded in 1950 and was initially limited to aircraft repairs. Later, the development and construction of civil aircraft were added.

At today's activities include the final assembly, the manufacture of aircraft parts and components, repair and maintenance. The company 's products include air -cushion vehicles and glass facades.
