Shannen Doherty
Shannen Maria Doherty ( born April 12, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee ) is an American actress.
Life
Shannen Doherty is the daughter of the married couple Tom and Rosa Doherty. Showed early interest in acting. Her first television role was in 1981 with a guest appearance on the television series Father Murphy. Michael Landon, who worked for the series as a writer and director, was so impressed by Doherty's performance that he hired her Little House on the continuation of his television series. There she played from 1982 to 1983, the role of Jenny Wilder and became known as the first time to a wider audience. This was followed by a series of guest appearances in several television series and roles in TV movies before 1989, Doherty was given a role in the feature film Heathers.
From 1990 to 1994 Doherty starred in the hit television series Beverly Hills, 90210, the role of Brenda Walsh. For Doherty, this series was the big breakthrough, but they had difficulties to handle the sudden fame. The tabloid press reported on numerous affairs and binge drinking. Also, during the filming of the series there were tensions. Numerous quarrels with the other actors eventually led that Doherty was released from producer Aaron Spelling.
Doherty married Ashley Hamilton in 1993, but the marriage was divorced in 1994. In March 1994, Doherty posed for the American edition of Playboy magazine. In 1995, she played a lead role in the feature film Mallrats.
From 1998 to 2001 Doherty embodied in the hit television series Charmed - the role of Prudence Halliwell Magical witches. After the third season, she left in a dispute with the production company of the series.
She married her second husband Rick Salomon, the marriage was annulled in 2003. In December 2003, she was photographed a second time for the Playboy magazine.
2003 and 2004, Doherty hosted the controversial show Scare Tactics, were frightened mercilessly in the unsuspecting people. In the fall of 2004, Shannen Doherty rose as scheming Alexandra Hudson in the North Shore U.S. series in order to protect them against the dismissal, but it did not help.
Shannen Doherty played a major role in the 2005 television movie Category 7 - The End of the World, alongside Gina Gershon and Randy Quaid.
In 2006, Shannen Doherty starred in the talk show The View as a co- presenter. As of August 22, 2006 their mission Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty, in which they accompanied people who wanted to separate from her partner ran. This series was canceled after the first season.
Christmas 2007 was Shannen Doherty seen in the U.S. television in the film Christmas Caper. The comedy is about a thief who returns to her sleepy hometown in Connecticut to steal Christmas.
She participated in the tenth season of the American TV show Dancing with the Stars in early 2010. In October 2010, was to see Shannen Doherty in the U.S. TV movie Growing the Big One. On October 15th 2011 Shannen Doherty married Kurt Iswarienko in Malibu. For the actress, it is the third marriage.
