Shannon Brown

Shannon Brown ( born November 29, 1985 in Maywood, Illinois) is an American professional basketball player in the NBA. He is 193 cm tall and weighs 96 kilograms. Shannon Brown plays at the point guard and shooting guard positions. When Draft 2006, he was selected to 25 out of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Shannon Brown went to the Proviso East High School and then went to college in Michigan.

From 2008 to 2011 he played with the Los Angeles Lakers and has won each of them in the years 2009 and 2010 championship title. Between 2011 and 2013 he was with the Phoenix Suns under contract. After a trade to the Washington Wizards, he was dismissed from this and remained present without club. In February 2014 he signed a 10 -day contract with the San Antonio Spurs. He then received a second 10 -day contract. His contract was not extended further. A short time later, he received a 10 -day contract with the New York Knicks, the Knicks decided then to commit Brown for the rest of the season.

He is well known for his spectacular dunks. In 2010 he was All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest participant in the NBA, for many the favorite of this event, but was not selected for the finals. The title then picked up Nate Robinson.
