Shannon Rempel

Shannon Rempel (* November 26, 1984 in Winnipeg, Manitoba ) is a Canadian speed skater who specializes in sprint and short trips.

Shannon Rempel debuted in February 2001 at the World Cup in Heerenveen. Again and again she was able to prove front seats - it was twice in her career second in 1000 -meter World Cup race - but disappointed again and again grown from successes higher expectations. The two-time Canadian champion belongs primarily as Sprint More campaigner for world class. Also available as an all-rounder it may consist and was in this discipline in 2003 Junior World Champion. Their greatest success was winning the silver medal at the side of Kristina Groves, Clara Hughes, Cindy Klassen and Christine Nesbitt during team competition at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. A year later, she was also in the team world champion.
