Shaolin Wuzang

Shaolin Wuzang ( in the original Shaolin Kids) is a Sino- French animated series from the year 2006.

Action

In the Chinese province of Henan in the 17th century, the terror reigns. The demon Heihu has escaped from his thousand-year imprisonment and suffering spread across the country, along with his criminal entourage, the black foxes. In desperation, the province lords and the peasants turn to the noble knights of the Shaolin monks, the protector of the innocent.

Master Sanzang, head of the Shaolin monastery, remembers the old story of the three Shaolin monks, who made it a millennium ago, to banish Heihu and he sets out to find the reincarnations of the three knights, as only they can Heihu beat. But when he finally finds the three, he has to realize that it is them still are children who have yet to be taught in the art of Kong Fu, only to become powerful knights of the Shaolin order to get the to make demon.

Thus begins an adventure for three teenagers Hua, Cheng and Tang, full of hard training sessions and examinations. The formation of the three is an introduction to ancient knowledge about magic, spells, healing arts and martial arts - ancient secrets that guard the Shaolin monks carefully. Despite that the three Shaolin Knights are still young, they have to rely on to make contacts with people from diverse backgrounds and to interact with them on the training grounds of the monastery.

The Shaolin students have to compete now against Heihu and his criminal assistants, the eternal struggle between good and evil is played again by them. This concerns especially the two books of wisdom, for he who possesses it can be stored in them with the knowledge of the ruler of the world. After Heihu has the Shaolin monks stolen one thing, he does everything possible to get the second book in his fingers. Thus, it is the job of three heroes to forestall him.

Publication

The series was first broadcast from 13 December 2006 by the French channel France 3. She was also sent to Chinese. In French, the series also appeared on two DVD boxes. In Germany, the series has not been published.

From 4 to 23 October 2007, the first German -language broadcast was carried by the transmitter KI.KA. Later in the program repeats followed by KI.KA, ORF1, SF2 and Jetix.
