Sharif Atkins
Sharif Atkins ( born January 29, 1975 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA) is an American film actor and film producer.
Life
Sharif Atkins was born in Pittsburgh, but spent his childhood in Chicago ( Illinois). His father, David Atkins, is a lawyer, his mother, Jacqueline Atkins, director of a museum. His sister, Makeba, now works as an engineer.
Atkins graduated from Whitney Young High School, and earned his first money as a waiter and warehouse clerk at Victoria 's Secret. With the money saved so he attended Northwestern University, which he finished in 1997 with a degree in theater arts.
In 1999 he made his film debut in an episode of the television series Turks. Among other roles, mainly in TV series, portrayed the African American from 2001 to 2006 Dr. Michael Gallant in 60 episodes of ER - Emergency Room. He also had a 2005/2006 in three episodes of 4400 - The returnees. In 2009 he was in the series Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten, CSI: Miami and Criminal Minds each a guest appearance. Since October 2009, he plays in the crime series White Collar FBI agent Clinton Jones.
His debut as a film producer Sharif Atkins graduated in 2004, as an executive producer on the short film Something for Nothing.
