Sharni Vinson

Sharni Vinson ( born July 22, 1983 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian actress and dancer who became famous for her role in the dance film Step Up 3D internationally.

Biography

Sharni Vinson grew up with her mother and her parents. Her father was living at that time in Canada. Even as a child she attended for four years, the drama school Australian Theatre for Young People and danced ballet for ten years. At twelve, she enrolled at the Brent Street School of Performing Arts to learn dancing and singing. After several guest appearances on television, she played from 2004 to 2008 a major role in the Australian soap opera Home and Away.

2008 Vinson moved to the United States where she initially had some minor roles in television series and the film Step Up to the Streets. In 2010 she played the female lead role in the dance film Step Up 3D. In 2012 she was standing next to Xavier Samuel, Julian McMahon and Phoebe Tonkin in Australian shark horror film Bait 3D front of the camera.

In addition to her acting career she was also active as a singer and dancer, among other things, in various musicals and with her all- girl group Fox Fire IV In May 2013, Vinson separated after a two year relationship of Kellan Lutz.
