Sharon den Adel

Sharon Janny ( born 12 July 1974 in Waddinxveen, South Holland) is a Dutch nobility singer and songwriter. She is a singer of the Symphonic and gothic metal band Within Temptation.

Career

In 1996, the nobility with her partner Robert Westerholt the band Within Temptation. Previously, both were members of a band called Voyage. The needle is a trained fashion designer and practiced this profession also made ​​in the first years of Within Temptation. After the success of the single Ice Queen she gave this work as a profession and is now focused on her musical career.

Although the nobility professionally singing in her band, they never had singing lessons. By his own admission she has trained herself. They had also been other projects, among other things, she has appeared in After Forever, Avantasia, Ayreon and Delain.

Together with the Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren, it produced the single " In and Out of Love" 2008, by this title lends her voice.

In 2010 she sang a duet with Dero of Oomph! the song "Land Ahead".

Trivia

Even before the founding of " Within Temptation " the nobility had a relationship with Robert Westerholt. On 7 December 2005 she became a mother. On 1 June 2009, she earned her second child. Because of renewed pregnancy, the tour was postponed from spring 2011 to autumn 2011. Their third child was born the end of March 2011.

She currently lives near Gouda. Den Adel contributes appearances on photos and clothes that she has designed itself.
